For the Global Week of Inclusion, designers teamed up with special olympic athletes to create merch to be sold on the Special Olympics website to spread awareness.
THE TEAM
First hopped on a call with Special Olympics Athletes Jerry Holly and Bobby Jones; as well as Americans Top Model Host - Nigel Barker.
Jerry and Bobby felt strongly that “unified” should be on the shirt because they felt that is what they most get out of the Special Olympics
They wanted to represent it in 2 ways.
THE PRESENTATION
One way was to show how "unified" starts with sportsmanship, then spreads light into the world like a torch.
Another was to show what keeps us unified. Light into the world like a torch. This word torch says it all, literally: "Inspire," "Friends and Family"--and more
THE RESULT
In only a 60 minute call we were able to turn the passion and inspiration of sportsmanship into wearable merchandise to be sold globally to take one step closer to the world being unified.
